"March, 2000"
Mom's 16 days in Southern California

Mother agreed, over the phone, to help me settle in San Diego area, as I was to move from Tallahassee to San Diego in early March. I terminated the work contract with Florida State University in February, and drove all the way to San Diego. Mom flew to Los Angeles on March 10, 2000, and I drove up to L.A. and picked her up. On the way back here, we stopped by L.A. Korean town for grocery shopping. She and I spent over 2 weeks together in San Diego area visiting Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Fashion Valley, University Town Center (UTC) and La Jolla beach. The below pictures were taken with my first digital camera, which mom helped me to pay for during her stay. She left for Korea on March 26 via L.A. airport.
