Shuttle Information to UCSD from the San Diego International Airport.
Commercial shuttles are available from the San Diego Airport at the shuttle islands across from the main entrances. These shuttle islands are accessible via short (approximately 200 ft.) overpasses from the second floors of the main terminals.
Two courtesy telephones are provided next to the Baggage Claim/Information Board in all airport terminals to contact shuttle services. Approximate fares are $12 per person/one-way. Advance reservations are not necessary except for those persons in need of a wheelchair accessible van.

Note: The Hotel La Jolla, Andrea Villa Inn and the Sea Lodge do not provide shuttle service from the airport to their respective hotels. However, these hotels will arrange a shuttle from their establishment to the airport (please provide advance notice of at least one day, if possible).

From north of La Jolla
Take Interstate 5 South.
Exit on Genessee Avenue west.
Proceed to the third light at the top of the hill.
Turn left onto North Torrey Pines Road.
Turn left onto North Point Drive and continue until you see a UCSD Visitor Information Center on the right.
From south of La Jolla.
Take Interstate 5 North.
Exit on Gilman Drive.
Turn left at the light onto Gilman Drive.
Continue for about 1 1/2 miles until you see a UCSD Visitor Center on the right.
Parking Permits.
You may obtain parking permits ($6.00/permit), specific directions, visitor parking information and a campus map at the UCSD Visitor Center.
